If you arrive for only a few days, if you have a lot of business to do,
if you have just one evening free time, this guided tour for you! You will
drive through the city center of Ekaterinburg and see the Historical Square,
the Dam and City Pond, the monument of Peter the Great, there will be an
opportunity to view samples of old machinery, the stone palaces of local "gold
merchants", the Church of Blood at the Romanov Death Site, and finally
the Chapel of St. Elizabeth. Winter city tour is 3 hours (2 hours by car + 1 hour in museum)

The Romanov's secret grave
The czar's family was executed in the basement of Ipatiev house on the night 16-17th of July in 1918. Just after the well-known midnight tragedy the corpses were transported out of the city and put in an open mine, called Ganya's pit. Hand grenades were thrown down the mine shaft by their executioners. Russian Orthodox Church insist on the version, that the bodies were taken out of the mine, dissected and burnt into ash. There is the monastery there founded in 2000 after the visit of Patriarch Alexii II - the Head of Russian Orthodox Church. The churches were built with the local timber without the aid of any nails.

The Ural Mountains are regarded as the border between Europe and Asia. To the west of the Urals lies European Russia, the cradle of the Russian culture. To the east lies the vast land of Siberia. You will visit the obelisk between Europe and Asia. It is one of the most famous and frequently visited places of the Ural region. You can put one foot in Europe and another one in Asia. When locals have a wedding they always visit the obelisk to take some photos and to drink some champagne with friends. During the way you will visit the cemetery where some well-known members of the Russian mafia are buried. You will see some impressive tombstones and you will be able to listen to some interesting stories. You will visit also the memorial complex, which was set up in 1995 in honor of the victims of Stalin's repression. At the way back to Ekaterinburg you will visit one of the local traditional villages.

You will visit one of the most ancient and beautiful Siberian villages, Koptelovo,
which was founded in the 17th century and has a rich history. The spirit
of Russia is revealed thought its folklore.
People who live in the village still stick to their old traditions. You
will see Russian house, called "Izba". Your guide will
tell you how people lived, what they ate, how they worked and how they
spent their leisure three hundred years ago and how they live now.
You will visit one of the museums, which hold many nice
antiquities and tell us about the history and old traditions of the village.

Museum of wooden architecture

Nevvyansk, the traditional Ural city
Nevyansk is very famous for its history and people. It was founded four
hundred years ago
in 1701 when the first iron and metal production factory was put into operation.
Later Peter the Great turned over the factory to Nikita Demidov's property
who was his good friend and the founder of mining and metallurgical industry
in the Urals. Nikita became very powerful and rich. His family and Neyansky
metal with the brand "Sable" were famous all over the world. At the beginning
of the XIX century people found gold here. During your tour you will see "Falling
Tower" built 1725. You will visit the local museum and
your guide will tell you everything about the history and all legends of
this Ural town. It is also very picturesque place with its own peculiarity.
During the trip you will see also one of the oldest local villages Bynghi,
with Russian traditional izba-houses and beautiful church.

Take evening daily train from Ekaterinburg to Tobolsk and next morning you
will see the real Siberian city: old Kremlin, museum of local studies, a
