Lake Baikal
Boat voyage

One of the most interesting tours on Lake Baikal. You will have a rented boat of "Yaroslavets" type (24 m length, 4 m width). Several stops in many picturesque and well-known places are made to walk on the shore. This tour combines filling of the sea voyage with sunbathing on the best Baikal sandy beaches, walking along the coast and witnessing ancient cultures artifacts. We take small dingeys or canoes to try paddling at the sea.

This program is flexible, landings are arranged with respect to weather conditions. In case of rain or wind, boat navigates to the nearest calm bay.

PROGRAM

YaroslavetDay 1
Transfer from airport/station, accommodation in Irkutsk at hotel Irkutsk, 3 hour city tour with one museum.

Day 2
Breakfast. Transfer to settlement Listvyanka by private car, start of the boat part of the tour. Visit to Museum of Lake Baikal (Limnological Museum). Navigate to Old Circum Baikal Railway. Excursion to old tunnels. Departure for Bolshie Koty village. Overnight near B.Koty on board or in tents. Full board.

Day 3
Trip to Peschanaya (Sandy) Bay. Relaxing on the beach, sightseeing and short walks to the nearest bays. Night in tents on the shore of Lake Baikal or on the ship board. Full board.

Navigate to Olkhon island . Short stop between Peschanaya Bay and Olkhon Island near the Sagan-Zaba rocks with pictures carved by ancients people. Night on the shore of Olkhon Island . Full board.
Day 5
Navigate along Olkhon Island and walk up hills for panoramic view points over the island. In the afternoon, landing at the mainland, take a drive to Irkutsk by private van (250 km). Accommodation in hotel Irkutsk. Full board.

Day 6
Breakfast. Transfer to airport/station. Departure from Irkutsk .
